The systems can be placed anywhere on the sink counter-top within 3 feet from the faucet. (Or other place near water supply and drain). This reverse osmosis unit is designed to operate at a water pressure in the range of 40-80 PSI. and the best is 65PSI. If the pressure of the incoming tap water is too low (less than 40 PSI), you 'll have to buy extra booster pump to make it work. If local water pressure exceeds 85 PSI, a pressure regulator must be installed, reducing the water pressure into the system. This system will start to generate the pure water under 40 PSI.
